Ignite Talks by Paul Cooper
Mr. Cooper has more than 35 years experience in geospatial data collection, management and leadership in the US federal government and private industry. He is Chairman of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH) Capacity Building Committee and is US representative on the PAIGH Hydrography Technical Committee. He is active in International Hydrographic Organization regional Oceanographic Observations Systems and in the National Science Foundation Oceanographic Observing Initiative. Previously, he served as Director of the Naval Oceanographic Office International Program, a program which developed bilateral relationships between the United States and other nations to conduct surveys and foster capacity building efforts in the fields of hydrography, oceanography and cartography.
