The Director of Survey Services within the Chief Directorate: National Geospatial Information since 1993 and is responsible for, amongst other things, the geodetic infrastructure in South Africa including the network of permanent GNSS base stations in South Africa, TrigNet. He is also closely involved with the Africa Geodetic Reference Frame project AFREF. He is currently a member of:
− The IAG Executive committee;
− The IGS Governing Board;
− AFREF Steering Committee
