Geodesy today Innovation for research and Impact - Meghan Miller
Meghan Miller was born in southern California to a family of mountain climbers, a launching pad to her early interest in geology. Having trained as a structural geologist in graduate school she got involved in geodesy as a post-doc and staff scientist at JPL in Tim Dixon's group. She went on to Central Washington University where she initiated a graduate program, built a regional GPS network, and served as dean of natural and social science. She came to UNAVCO in 2008, and continues to be very enthusiastic about mountain climbing and geodesy.
