How Esperanto can change the world by Giridhar Rao

Dr A Giridhar Rao is a linguistic human rights activist. He teaches humanities and languages at IIIT Hyderabad. His doctoral dissertation on science fiction (University of Hyderabad, 1994) led him to the emancipatory possibilities of Esperanto. He teaches Esperanto, and is currently translating Mahatma Gandhi's autobiography into Esperanto. Another current project is to translate Faiz Ahmed Faiz into Esperanto. As General Secretary of the Indian Esperanto Federation, he is active in the Esperanto movement in India and worldwide.
