Kristyn Greenwood is currently the manager of the Middleware User Research team at Oracle USA which supports design and development in the middleware product line (e.g. Java, SOA, JDeveloper, Webcenter). She also is the UI Architect leading design activities for Lifecycle Tools and Processes (e.g. installation, configuration, provisioning & migration) of Oracle’s middleware and applications products. Previously she was a usability engineer at the Santa Cruz Operations. She has over 15 years in the user experience field, working as ethnographer, information architect, UI designer, usability engineer and squeaky wheel for enterprise software development. Kristyn has an MA in Social Psychology from University of Southern California where she studied the social psychology of computer mediated communication. She is a strong advocate for increased usability for technical users (DBAs, Developers) whom she believes are an often overlooked user.
