Bio:

Jakob Biesterfeldt has been working as an usability engineer and project manager for User Interface Design GmbH since 2004. He is the Director of Interantional Practice and is in charge of the International Usability Partners for UID.

Prior to UID, he studied at the University of Applied Sciences of Furtwangen graduating in Product Engineering. Subsequently, he was employed at the Human-Computer Interaction Competence Center of the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Engineering.

Jakob Biesterfeldt is a member of the Usability Professionals Association (UPA) and the German UPA. Since 2011 he is Director of Marketing & Communication at the UPA. 2009 and 2010 he was co-chair of the UPA international conference.
