Wikipedians. They're the people who actually write that free online encyclopedia you use every day. But who are they? Wikipedia isn't written by the staff of a company or paid experts. Bio:
Steve has been a Wikipedian since August 2006. Since 2010 I've been a part of the Community Department of the Wikimedia Foundation, where I work on research projects and community organizing that helps everyone in the movement understand and improve the way the community fulfills our mission.
Before moving from Portland, Oregon to San Francisco, I was an active member of the monthly Portland WikiWednesday meet-up, and I've also contributed to the blog for WikiProject Oregon. Prior to working with Wikimedia, I was a professional writer and blogger, mostly for technology publications and companies.
