Stephanie Rosenbaum combines her 3 greatest loves - food, wine, and user experience - to give advice for ensuring the best possible wine user experience while dining out.
Stephanie Rosenbaum is CEO of TecEd. A computer industry pioneer, she was selected by the National Science Foundation for advanced computer coaching as a high-school student, then founded TecEd to help businesspeople use mainframe computers. Under her direction, TecEd has evolved to its current role as a leader in user experience, supporting cutting-edge products in e-commerce, mobile, media, healthcare, and other industries with user research and UI design.
Stephanie regularly delivers presentations and workshops at the Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA), ACM SIGCHI (Computer Human Interaction), and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. She co-chaired the CHI 2006 Usability Community, and is a past vice-chair of ACM SIGDOC (Design of Communication). A Fellow of the Society for Technical Communication, Stephanie received the STC’s 2011 Rainey Award for Excellence in Research, and was awarded an IEEE Millennium Medal in 2000.
Stephanie’s many publications include an invited chapter on “The Future of Usability Evaluation” in Maturing Usability. With Chauncey Wilson, she contributed a chapter on “Categories of ROI and their Practical Implications” to Cost-Justifying Usability: An Update for the Internet Age.
